Few weeks ago i went away for just over a week. Went from London to new york - New york to North Carolina - North Carolina to Punta Cana - Punta Cana to Antigua - Antigua back to London.

5 planes in 7/8 days. Pretty hectic! Even if you do enjoy jet setting, this was a little too much…

I’ve attached some photos here from Dominican Republic… and willl attach more later for the other destinations.

P.s DR fucking ROCKS!I made some amazing friends! Some Lovely people from Canada, and an awesome couple from Argentina! Really cool. Infact Paula is a Knitwear Designer, and Fernando is a Graphic Designer. Check her website out! pretty amazing stuff.

Hello~Hello

Hiiiiiiiiiiii! :)
 
It’s been such a busy week! So nice. I’ve finally had a day to just really do nothing. On a Monday! Ha! Perfect!
 
I’ve been catching up with lots of old friends that I haven’t seen in so long. Lots of lunches, dinners, drinks and dancing. Still avoiding any romance at all with anyone though. Still kissless! Haha!
 
I’m so fricking excited for Halloween. Still not sure what I want to be. I’m thinking maybe Bane from the Batman series, but then again, I’m thinking lots of people might be doing it. Hmmm… Debating debating… Another debate Is if I’ll even still be in London. I have to go to NYC like asap, I still haven’t even booked my tickets! Stupid me, prices are sky rocketing. Too much procrastinating.
 
Alsooooo… This trip may be important for me, because I have 2 meeting that could really change the foreseeable future for me. May end up living there. Which’ll be pretty awesome but sad at the same time, leaving everything and everybody behind here. My sister is moving to LA in a few months though, so we’ll not be too far from eachother. But with all the things going on here Lately, It might be just the thing I need to progress further in my life.
 
Exciting news… Well, other than the meetings, I’m most likely going Cuba soon after NYC. Finally! Some sun sea and sand! It has been too long! Don’t think that few days away In the summer was quite enough.
 
In other non exciting news in my “fun” life, (Not), I had to cancel Yoga because I had a friends birthday lunch! Which totally sucked but was really worth it. Think I’ve eaten enough for a nation this week. Good news is the running is keeping me at the healthy -7.1kg I’ve lost over the last month and a half. Impressive! I know!
 
Anyways, not doing anything interesting today. Watching The Big Bang Theory right now. BAZINGA. Have been invited to Premier Model Management’s party tonight, but not entirely sure I want to leave this warmth to crawl outside in the pouring rain and mingle with a majority of shallow people. Although might be interesting to bump into the odd old friend or two.

Tomorrow’s another busy day… so yah, better get off and sort crap out.

Everything’s Worth A Try!

It’s a beautiful day today. Sun is out but still that nice London hint of cold that gives you the slight shiver every now and again. It’s so refreshing.

Today has been chilled, been spending time with the family, and just finished the epic Jurassic Park III movie on tv. My god, how many memories popped out from childhood and from actually this year. Dinosaur faces, haha.

I’m currently reading up on Yoga and Meditation classes (After a lenghthy discussion with a friend, who convinced me, and apparently it’s ”exactly” what i need), trying to find out which one is best suited for me. Figured everything is worth a try so why not try something new.

I’ve booked myself in for a Kripalu yoga class this week. I wonder how it’ll go. I’ll probably make a complete ass of myself, and fall over , and over, and over, but what the heck right, why not have some fun and if it’s all it’s cracked up to be maybe start it as a hobby or a daily part of my routine.

Kripalu is called the yoga of consciousness. This gentle, introspective practice urges practitioners to hold poses to explore and release emotional and spiritual blockages. Goal-oriented striving is discouraged and precise alignment is not as important as in some other traditions. There are three stages in Kripalu yoga. Stage One focuses on learning the postures and exploring your bodies abilities. Stage Two involves holding the postures for an extended time, developing concentration and inner awareness. Stage Three is like a meditation in motion in which the movement from one posture to another arises unconsciously and spontaneously.

Well, I’ve got this great positive energy running through me today, so i’m sending you all positive vibes and hope everybody has a fantasic day and evening.

Anyways, i’m off for a run on the treadmill that’s been collecting dust, then dinner, and hopefully an early night of sleep, god , i need that sleep.

!!!Happiness???‏

Happiness, it’s when you’ve got money, girls/guys, parties, a big ass house right?
 
Nope. Not for me anyway. Maybe before yeah, that’s what I wanted, or thought I wanted. Nope nope, no more.
 
That’s all a show, a show for the people you really care about. Either to impress them or make them jealous. Kind of pathetic in a way when you think about it. That being said, didn’t we all do that at some point or another?
 
So, what is happiness?
 
I like to think of it as a sense of being complete. For me it’s a few simple things. I don’t need the fast car, the big penthouse and the 50 ft. yacht to be happy, although I’d be lying to say that, that wouldn’t be a pretty awesome bonus.
 
(Wouldn’t mind taking the Jet Ski for a spin before breakfast)
 
 
No, no. My idea of happiness is much simpler.
 
Having the people who you care most about in your life around you all the time.
Wishing them the success, the health, there general wellbeing, to be amazing. Sharing the moments that’ll last forever.
 
Whether it’s your family, on a vacation together or, the fact we’re all finally sitting down and having dinner on a dinner table for the first time in a long time, laughing about something that happened 10 years ago.
 
Friends who you laugh your blimming socks with, that you start tearing up like a little school girl.
 
Girlfriends/Boyfriends who you can act completely yourself around. Be an absolute Muppet with and know you won’t be judged by them. Do a naked dance, a funny face or just dress like a bum.
 
That for me is true happiness. My advice to you and a reminder to myself is, if you find that kind of happiness in your life, cherish it, keep it safe, don’t take it for granted and fight for it at whatever cost.
 
That is the kind of happiness that doesn’t come by so often. Those friends don’t just grow on trees, families don’t change (so its best you get used to them), and partners, well that’s the hardest of all, to find that person that makes you feel invincible isn’t on a basis of trial and error, you’ll know it the moment you see them, don’t waste your time giving yourself up to someone that isn’t going to love you like you should be, so when you do, make it count.
 
Be yourself man, you are so much cooler being you.
 
That’s my definition of happiness.

‘Oliday

So…… I know i haven’t updated this in like a month… sorry… been so busy with life!!!

Well, a lot has happened since i last posted up on Tumblr, not sure where to begin or what to say.. Hmmmm..

It’s been work fun and games to say the least. 

I went away to Egypt, to surprise my mum who lives between Cairo and London. As some of you may know, My parents are Egyptian, and i used to go to Egypt every year since i was a kid. Unfortunately i got bored of it and got a bit of a headache from some of the people over there. Being a developing country their are a lot of backwards people and i guess that would get the better of me and wind me up, so for the last 7 years i never went back.

On the other hand my older sister Sarah is in love with Egypt, and goes there every few months for a long period of time. Anyways, so being my sister and all she kept insisting i go to Egypt and she’d show me a good time. Me being reluctant to go ofcourse everytime that she’d asked. Finally, one night i was at home and was looking through pictures on my laptop and got to missing my mum and sister. So got onto the phone to my sister and told her I’d be booking a flight to Cairo and that she shouldn’t tell my mum as i wanted it to be a surprise. 

That being sorted i then got onto the phone and called a friend and he decided to come with me, since he needed a little break too. 

I arrived in Cairo and WOW. It really has changed a lot since then. Not so much the people but the actual venues, hotels and restaurants were all top notch if i say so myself. Pleasant surprise…

Sister got me from the airport bla bla bla…. Got to my mums apartment at like 3am. Sister goes into my mums room and wakes her up saying she can’t seem to close the main doors to the house. Up my mum gets still groggy, me hiding in a corner like a thief… Strolls towards the front door with my sister, thinking ”I hate this fucking door”, i creep up behind, tap my fingers on her shoulders, she jumps and starts screaming, turns around, sees me…and when i tell you the look on her face was like she had just seen a ghost, it was worrying for me too! hahaha. Staring at me for a good ten - twenty seconds, rubbing her eyes in disbelief, she then charges at me and hugs me until i’m about to pass out. She got really teary from happiness and i guess it was quite moving for me too. :) Bless her.

So i don’t really remember much from Egypt as i was wasted most of the time, as usual, but it was really fun, for the most part. My sister took me out every night and we were at the Fairmont Hotel every afternoon by the pool, sun tanning, drinking, catching up with friends…. ( She had some HOTTTTT friends) hehe…

Was really great, went around Egypt, the red sea, the coast. Beautiful place, not at all as i remembered it to be… Mind you, the people there haven’t changed all that much and that’s why i say i enjoyed it for the most part.

So, enough of me talking gibberish, i’ll see what pictures i can find and upload for you guys to have a look. My sister has most of the pics as i don’t walk around with a camera, only use my phone. Hate having something bulky in my pocket.
